I just bought a portable Surge belly milker, with a vacuum pump, but am not sure how to plumb it to work. It does draw vacuum, (when I turned it on) but want to make sure that I have done the maintanence that is needed before using it. I don't know what kind of pump it is, but here is what I do know. It says that it is a Surge with a S/U 1/6th horsepower motor. It has a small tank that the pump and motor sit on. Does anyone know of an owners manual that would explain all of this stuff to me?
